Access Control Management (Perform Security Command Centre Activities at Client's Premises)

Access Control Management (Perform Security Command Centre Activities at Client's Premises) is designed to equip security officers with the knowledge and skills to perform functions at a security command centre (SCC) effectively in a supervisory role. 


Learning Outcomes:

  • Prepared for operational duties

  • Able to monitor and respond to irregularities appropriately

  • Manage maintenance of security systems and information

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or 

  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English at WPL Level 3

  • Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3

  • No pre-existing medical conditions


*Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance

    Assessment

    The assessment will be conducted by Polwel assessors.

    Learners need to attain at least 75% attendance and pass the course in order to obtain a Statement of Attainment.

    Through Security Screening Management (Conduct Security Screening of Person and Bag), learners would obtain the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of a security officer to prepare security screening duty, prepare person for security screeing, prepare security screening of person with walk-through and hand-held metal detectors, conduct manual screening (pat-down) of person, conduct manual bag search and conduct security screening activities
