Updates to the course requirement to be a security officer and senior security officer in Singapore.

In line with the with the implementation of the Progressive Wage Model (PWM), there will be enhancements made to the training requirements for Security Officers (SOs) and Senior Security Officers (SSOs) in Singapore.


Currently, security officers would only need to complete and attain a competent grade for the 3 basic security officer course: Recognise Terrorist Threats (RTT) , Provide Guard and Patrol Services (PGPS) and Handle Security Incidents and Services (HSIS).
