Basic Cyber Security

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the impacts cybercrime has on society

  • Apply procedures for the Protection of data.

  • Describe the ethical and responsible use of cyberspace.

  • Explain the threats posed by the malicious activities.

  • Apply the knowledge gained to protect against the malicious activities.


Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or

  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English at WPL Level 3

  • Learners should be able to read a computer monitor and see at a distance and possess basic skills in operating a computer


*Individuals not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to an interview before acceptance.
