Through Incident Response (Perform Monitoring and Reporting Duties at Central Command Centre), participants will have the knowledge and skills to perform monitoring and reporting duties at central command centre.


Learning Outcomes


This competency unit is sequenced to cover key points from a 'chronological' approach from preparing for security operations at command centre, to responding to security incidents at sites from command centre, to monitoring progress of corrective and preventive action and reporting incidents. Upon learning about the routine activities and organisational procedures to monitoring and reporting duties at command centre, learners will next learn to apply the knowledge and skills to effectively monitor and review security operations and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace, which includes:


  1. Prepare for security operations at command centre

  2. Respond to security incidents at sites from command centre

  3. Monitor progress of corrective and preventive action and reporting incidents.


Entry Requirements


  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalnet; or 

  • Able to read, write, speak and listen English at WPL Level 3 

  • Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3

  • 21 years old and above

  • Completed 3 security supervisor modules (SSOC + 2 other security supervisor modules)

*Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance

Assessment

The assessment will be conducted by Polwel assessors.

Learners need to attain at least 75% attendance and pass the course in order to obtain a Statement of Attainment.
