Deterrence: Manage Disorderly Conduct & Threatening Behaviour

This course aims to equip security officers with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to manage disorderly conduct and threatening behaviour. On successful completion, participants will acquire the essential knowledge and application skills to manage disorderly conduct and threatening behaviour, and apply them at the workplace.

Learning outcomes:

  • Prepare for work activities

  • Deter threatening behaviour through visible security presence 

  • Deal with disordely and threatening behaviour

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or

  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English at WPL Level 3

  • Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 3

  • No pre-existing medical conditions

  • Experience in Security Industry: 6 months security industry experience as a Security Officer

*Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance
