Crowd and Traffic Control Management (Conduct Crowd and Traffic Control)

WSQ Crowd and Traffic Control Management is designed to equip security officers with the competency to prepare for crowd and traffic control duties.


Learning Outcomes

This competency unit cover key points from the routine activites such as the preparation and conducting of crowd control duties. Upon learning about the routine activities and organizational procedures to prepare and conduct crowd control and traffic control duties, learners will next learn to apply the knowledge attained in different work situations, namely:

  1.  Prepare for crowd and traffic control duties

  2.  Conduct crowd control

  3.  Conduct traffic control


Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or

  • Able to read, write, speak and listen to English at WPL Level 4

  • Able to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4

*Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance

Assessment

The assessment will be conducted by Polwel assessors.

Learners need to attain at least 75% attendance and pass the course in order to obtain a Statement of Attainment.
