FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I register for the courses?

You can register through either one of the following methods:

  1. ​Filling in the Online Registration Forms here:

What are the types of courses being offered?

We currently offer a range of courses from security courses, lifesaving courses, PDPA courses and CERT Firefighting courses.

Are there evening, night or weekend classes conducted?

We do not provide evening or night classes as of now.  For weekend classes, do refer to our course schedule

What do i need to bring?

Participants are to bring their NRIC/Work permit during the assessments for verification purposes

What are the payment methods accepted?

Payment can be done through SkillsFuture Credit, Cash or Paynow.

How to make payment?

We will be sending you the receipt for your course which we will require you to claim on the Skills Future Credit Website

What happens if I failed the assessment?

 

Learners can choose to sit for re- assessment. Please kindly note that re-assessment has to be taken within 60 calendar days from the initial course end date. Learners can pay for the re- assessment fees via cash or PayNow. Skills Future Credit is not able to be used for re-assessment. Click here to view the reassessment fees.

After 60 calendar days from the course run end date, learners are required to re-sit for the full course and pay the nett fee of the course. Learners can pay for the nett fee through SkillsFuture Credit/ Paynow/ Cash.

If I fall sick on the day of the assessment, can i retake the assessment on a different date?

If you miss your assessment due illness or a medical condition, you must send a copy of your MC or doctor's letter to us to indicate that you were unwell on the day of the assessment. All documents must be submitted to training@metropolis.sg within 3 working days of your original assessment date. Otherwise, you would have to pay the reassessment fee to sit for the reassessment.
